Shirley Carvalhaes was the daughter of Esther and Antonio Mariano and accompanied them in the church. Shirley had a humble childhood in a mosque in RJ, but was encouraged by his mother to sing. It was the singer who sold the most records in the 80s and 90s in the religious niche.
